A Taste Of Lake City was held on December 11th 2010 at Private Acres.  A great time was had by all. Members and supporters of Lake City Business came out and decorated their tables and showed off their food, wine, drinks, business interests etc.  A fashion show was held by Belk Department store that was fabulous!  There were table decorating contests, raffles, 50/50 tickets, a food contest, DJ dancing, shag dancing, and even some singing at the end of the evening!  The food was spectacular, tables were gorgeous and the crowd was friendly and just a whole lot of fun!  Awards were given out by the Chamber of Commerce and we have to say KUDO'S to the Culinary Arts students who took home 1st PLACE for the "food" and table that they decorated!  Lake City won 1st place in the table decorating and there were so many beautiful tables that it was no easy thing to do.  We feel so honored to have been able to be a part of this wonderful evening!  WE URGE EVERYONE TO SHOP OR EAT OR UTILIZE THE BUSINESS' HERE THAT CARE ABOUT THE GREATER LAKE CITY AREA RESIDENTS AND TAKE PART IN COMMUNITY EVENTS!
